7-Night Legendary Winter in the Mediterranean (Rome to Barcelona)
While the allure of summer in the Mediterranean is undeniable,
the quieter, more intimate charm of the winter months beckoned.
Windstar Cruises offered us the opportunity to discover iconic
ports like Barcelona, Nice, Livorno (Florence/Pisa), and Rome in
an entirely different light onboard the all-suite Star Legend.
Our overnight stays in Barcelona, Rome, and Nice allowed us to
enjoy the cultural treasures, gourmet delights, and captivating
history with an intimate ambiance that's simply unparalleled.
This was our first experience on Windstar
Cruises, and it won't be our last. While onboard, we planned a
14-Night Tahitian Treasures and Magnificent Marquesas (Papeete
Roundtrip), in March 2026, to celebrate a milestone wedding

Rocky Mountaineer - Rockies to the Red Rocks
Our local Rocky Mountaineer representative organized a group tour on
their newest route, Rockies to the Red Rocks, which travels between
Denver, Colorado, and Moab, Utah, with an overnight stay in Glenwood
Springs, Colorado.
The two-day Rockies to the
Red Rocks route is steeped in history and full of opportunities to
explore the ever-changing scenery and iconic destinations of the
region. Breathtaking plains, mountain vistas and chromatic deserts
are just the beginning. The train winds alongside towering canyons
that have been carved away by the Colorado River as it travels between
the mile-high city of Denver and the red sandstone mountains of Moab.
We enhanced our experience with SilverLeaf Plus which
gives you exclusive access to the lounge car, offering additional
space indoors to relax and soak in the scenery, as well as a small
viewing area outdoors. Additional highlights of the trip were a
private tour of Arches National Park and a coach transfer to Salt Lake
City, Utah.

Family Cruise
Our love for cruising began shortly after we were married. We
introduced our son to cruising at an early age and have
continued the tradition by sailing with our two grandchildren as
well. This was not our first cruise on Harmony OTS. In fact it
was their third cruise on the ship, as they just loved it. The
crew did an amazing job, especially at dinner, paying particular
attention to ther needs and enjoyment.
There are plenty of activities for the
family to enjoy together. Their favorite thing to do is rock
climbing, and it was hard to tear them away to do something
else. We highly recommend Royal Caribbean for families looking

Magic Carpet Suite - The Retreat
For us cruising in the Caribbean isn't about the
destination, as we've sailed to just about every port there is. When we plan a Caribbean cruise, we look for
new ships and new experiences.
We booked a Magic Carpet Suite which gave us access to
"The Retreat" including the lounge, private pool deck, and
"Luminae" the restaurant exclusively for The Retreat guests.
For 7 glorious days we were pampered from morning until
night. Our day would typically begin
with breakfast in the Luminae followed by lounging in the Retreat Pool Deck
until lunch. Some days we went to the
restaurant and others we ate poolside.
We'd spend some time in the lounge with our favorite drink
and new friends and then go to dinner either in Luminae or one of the specialty
restaurants. After dinner we'd go to a
show where we had reserved seating on the upper level.
The Retreat is highly recommended for those cruises where
you want to re-energize and relax. Check
